- Deborah Davis
- Creator, Producer and Vocalist
Since1989, Deborah Davis has been singing professionally and creating, producing and performing musical presentations that are innovative, unique, entertaining and that leave the audience with this sense that you have just been part of a remarkable history lesson. Deborah and her band Segue to Jazz headlined The Ottawa International Jazz Festival’s family day in 1994, 1995 and 1997 with her show What is This Thing Called Jazz? She is particularly well known for her critically acclaimed Satin Dolls show and her blockbuster show, A Musical Taste of Our Canadian Heritage/Notre patrimoine canadien, une odyssée musicale which she has performed to sold out audiences since 2000 at venues including Ottawa’s Centrepointe Theatre, Parliament Hill and the Canadian Museum of Civilization. Deborah has created and performed shows for Governors General, Prime Ministers, and Ambassadors, major festivals, community, corporate, government and national events.

- Peter Beaudoin
- Drummer and Musical Director
Peter has been working with Deborah Davis since 1997 on a number of projects including Satin Dolls, What is this Thing Called Jazz and A Musical Taste of our Canadian Heritage - A graduate of Humber College, Peter has over thirty years of experience as a musician, drummer and band leader. He has also completed nine Canadian Forces world show tours, and has had an impressive career as a respected and well sought after performer and recording musician with numerous world class Canadian and international artists including Harry Chapin, Petula Clark, Rita Coolidge and Canadian Artists such as Amy Sky, Tom Cochran, Wayne Rostadt, Charlie Major, Fernand Ginac and James Moody to name a few.

- Sylvain Landry
- Narrator and Vocalist
Sylvain Landry has participated in over 300 television, cinematic and theatrical productions over the last twenty six years. The fourty-five year old actor/singer/director/musician has stage credits which include Les Misérables, Cyrano de Bergerac, The Mikado, The Pirates of Penzance and Twelfth Night. TV credits include guest star appearances on Big Wolf on Campus, Seriously Weird and SCOOP He has also had the pleasure to rub shoulders with the likes of John Travolta (Battlefield Earth), Nicholas Cage (Snake Eyes), as well as Nicole Kidman, Gary Sinise and Anthony Hopkins (The Human Stain).

- Eddy Bimm
- Keyboards and Vocals
With thirty five years in the music and entertainment business, Ed Bimm is a multi-talented artist whose style can be described as “versatile” from Classical to rock and everything in between. A much sought after session player, Ed has recorded and toured with well known Canadian and international artists including Susan Aglukark, Charlie Major, Ian Tamblyn, Les Emmerson, Sneezy Waters, Randall Prescott, Wayne Rostad, The Cooper Brothers and Family Brown. As well as writing music for CBC, CTV Ottawa and the National Film Board of Canada, Ed spent two years in Los Angeles doing session and recording work with various artists. Ed has also been working with Deborah Davis since 1997 on a number of projects including Satin Dolls, What is this Thing Called Jazz and A Musical Taste of our Canadian Heritage.

- Gino Scaffidi
- Guitar
Concerts too numerous to mention, some of his performing highlights include; The National Prayer Breakfast (Parliament Hill), RCMP open house, performances for the Queen of England and their Royal Highnesses the Prince and Princess of Wales, Collaborations with Canadian entertainers David foster, Celine Dion, Rick Little, Paul Anka, The Canadian Brass, Bill Jupp Big Band, and many “Legends Tribute Artists”. Gino has been working with Deborah since 2003, first with the blockbuster hit, A Musical Taste of Our Canadian Heritage followed by Satin Dolls in 2006. In addition to being a guitarist for the RCMP Concert Band and traveling for more than twenty years, Gino has performed for Governor Generals, the Prime Minister and various local and visiting heads of states, the Mendelssohn Choir. He has also contributed his time and musical expertise for many local fundraisers and community events.

- Tom Denison
- Bass
Tom Denison began playing drums at twelve and the bass at fifteen years of age. He played at the Montreal and Ottawa International Jazz Festivals, while honing his skills in a number of dance and jazz/rock bands around Ottawa. Highlights from his career include performing in Beijing in 1995 and St. Petersburg Russia in 1996 and at the opening of the Canadian Embassy in Washington. In addition he has toured Europe and North America, performing for Kings, Queens and many other Heads of State from across the globe. Most of these events took place during his time with the Central Band of the Canadian Forces.

- René Lavoie
- Saxophone and Flute
Rene Lavoie began playing the saxophone in high school at the age of fourteen. He completed his Bachelor of Music degree at the University of Ottawa and his Masters degree in jazz studies and pedagogy at the University of Miami. He also studied in New York City with Joe Allard and Eddy Daniels. Some of his strongest influences include Cannonball Adderley, Sonny Rollins, Charlie Parker, Michael Brecker, Phil Woods and John Coltrane. Highlights from his career include performing with Jean Beaudet, Rob McConnell, Dave Leibman and Guido Basso.

- Darin Kyle
- 2001 World Tap Dance Champion
Darin Kyle resides in Ottawa, Ontario. He is a Canadian grown talent heavily involved in the Dance industry since the age of 12, accumulating training in Tap, Jazz, Ballet and Hip Hop. Darin has twice represented Canada at the World Tap Dance Championships, becoming a double Gold medalist and the only Canadian man to become World Solo Champion. Since then he has spent time sharing his unique groove in education and performance across Canada. Darin has also attained a bachelor’s degree in Classical History and a Diploma in Developmental Services. Darin now performs exclusively with Canadian Musical Odyssey in their original productions including the dynamic and always entertaining “Satin Dolls” and “A Musical Taste of our Canadian Heritage” shows.
